·         99 - Removes 99% of particles that are at least 0.3 microns in diameter

·         100 - Removes 99.97% of all particles that are 0.3 microns in diameter or larger. HE or HEPA quality filter.

The most commonly used N95 masks are used for Flu or Influenza prevention. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states that this mask is quite effective in preventing the spread of swine flu, flu or any other flu which involves transmission from person to person. N95 masks are fabricated to fit over the nose and mouth of the wearer and the fit is equally comfortable to breathe.
